By the end of the course, you'll realize how similar color grading is all across the board, giving you the confidence to color. We'll look at how to do color correction in the host of applications, including the free Red City X, as well as in Adobe Premiere After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. Then we'll get into the basics of how to grade footage as well as how and why to check your work using color scopes. We'll talk about the types of things that the human brain finds beautiful or interesting. You'll be able to apply the understanding to your own work, so we're gonna start by breaking down and simplifying a lot of the core principles involved in color theory and color grading. That way, when we cover the techniques, it will make sense why we're doing what we're doing. My goal in this course is to give you a deeper understanding of the fundamental principles of color and color correction. The problem is that much of the tutorials and training out there just kind of skim the surface or show you how to do one isolated technique. You know, I get a lot of questions on social media and my classes or whatever about how to color grade.
